Coral
Castle
Located 31 miles South of the Miami International
Airport is Coral Castle. Featured on several television shows, this
truly amazing Castle will leave you speechless by it's mysterious
history. The Coral Castle was hand carved by one man named Ed
Leedskalnin using only tools he created. Ed Leedskalnin was a little
over five foot tall and weighing around 100lbs created this
beautiful castle from scratch. Coral Castle was carved from over
1,100 tons of coral and rock. This magnificent Castle was supposedly
created for his lost love and was carved with no help from anyone
else and without any type of machinery. This is a must see on your
next visit to Miami.
South Beach
Also
referred to as SoBe this extremely popular Beach offers some
of Miami's most exciting areas full activities and fashion.
This is the palace to be on your visit to Miami. Occupying the
southernmost three miles of pristine beaches are the up and coming
art galleries, stylish art deco buildings, fantastic restaurants and
several of Miami's top nightclubs. Another trendy place to visit is
the Art deco District located in the center of Miami's reinvention,
featuring more than 800 Art Deco buildings including many excellent
hotels located near the beach. If you are seeking a more quieter
area you should visit Central Miami this is also considered one of

Bill Baggs Cape Florida Park is found in Miami's
Key Biscayne district offering plenty of laid back activities such
as fishing, hiking, picnic areas and a superb beach which was rated
as one of the best beaches of America. Also found in the Bill Baggs
Cape Florida Park is Cape Florida Lighthouse constructed over 200
years ago. The Cape Florida Lighthouse is the oldest building in the
south of Florida. The lighthouse is extremely well preserved
attracting several visitors. Guided tours are available
offering spectacular views and an open-air cafe. This is a great way
to spend a relaxing day on your visit to Miami.
Miami Dolphin Stadium is located close to North Miami Beach and is
home to Miami's top football team the Miami Dolphins and the
famous Florida Marlins baseball team. Dolphin Stadium is one
of Miami's largest sporting attractions, hosting major football and
baseball games. Dolphin stadium was previously named the Miami Joe
Robbie Stadium also called the Pro Player Stadium. The Stadium is a
popular tourist attraction in Miami weather you are enjoying a game
or attending other events, festivals or concerts held at Miami's
Dolphin Stadium.
Port of Miami is one of Downtown Miami's landmarks, Port Miami is
the worlds largest cruising ports. Port Miami welcomes over three
million tourists each year, the port is made up of two large islands
to the south is Dodge Island and Lummus Island. You can also reach
the port on a separate causeway leaving from Biscayne Blvd close to
the Marketplace. Several of the enormous cruise ships dock at the
Port of Miami at night, you can't miss these huge ships all
illuminated.
The Miami Sky Lift is a new and interesting
attraction located in downtown Miami's Bay Front Park. This
fasinating ride will help you gain an interesting look into our
spectacular city as you travel 500 feet into the air in a helium
balloon suspended above Bay Front Park. The ride is approximately 15
minutes and includes a narrated description of Miami. The Sky Lift
offers fantastic views of Miami this new attraction is a must on
your visit to Miami.
Dining in the Miami area offers several dining choices from fine
steaks to authentic Cuban specialties found throughout the city. If
you happen to be in South Florida during stone crab season (mid
October- mid May) you need to visit Joe's Stone Crabs on South
Beach. Joe's Stone Crabs opened in 1913 claiming to be the original
discoverer of the delicious stone crab. Another trendy restaurant is
Emeril's Miami Beach featuring his unique, signature
Cajun cuisine. If you are hungry for some authentic Brazilian
cuisine try Porcao. This Brazilian steakhouse prepares some of the
finest meat dishes Miami has to offer. For breakfast try the News
Cafe this is one of the best places to enjoy breakfast, read the
paper and people watch.
